Where you stand, and three next steps.
Your positions in both indices, each against its own pool, with your band where you hold one, your strongest subject and sector, your funding record and how many of your peers you lead. Three next steps, ordered by the goals your team sets, come with the figure from your record behind each one, beside the universities and companies to approach next and the live calls that fit your strengths.
Peers
Choose the universities you measure yourself against, then confirm them.
Start from suggested sets (similar, aspirational, national and regional), each university with the reason it is suggested, or search the whole index for one you already have in mind. Choose up to the number of peers agreed for your university and confirm the set: from then on it is fixed, so every view, brief and download compares you with the same universities, and GRP can review it on request.
Benchmark
Every measure of both indices, against your peers.
An indicator map sets each measure of the Research Collaboration Index and the Industry Collaboration Index against the middle half and full range of your peers. See each peer's position in both indices, the universities just above and below you with the gap in places and points, your overall profile against the peer median, and any two measures plotted across the whole index, with a count of the universities ahead of you on both.
Subjects
26 fields, each read against its own pool.
A heatmap of the 26 subjects of the Research Collaboration Index shows where you and each peer stand, as a rank in each subject's own pool. A position resting on fewer than 100 joint works is flagged as thin evidence. See where you lead your peers and where they lead you, who sits just above and below you, and open any subject for its neighbours, world top 10 and partners.
Sectors
Your industry standing, sector by sector.
From the Industry Collaboration Index: where you and your peers stand in each industry sector against its own pool, with small pools marked provisional, what your verified industry work consists of, how your sector mix compares with the typical peer's, and how your industry work has moved year by year.
University partners
Who to partner with next, and why.
See your closest partners today, where they are, how strong each tie is and whether it runs both ways. Then find universities strong in a subject that are not yet close partners, and the white space: universities that at least two of your peers count among their closest partners in a subject while you do not. Every recommendation carries its evidence (the partner's subject rank, your joint works, the peers who work with it and shared EU projects), and Copy evidence turns it into a sourced paragraph for a proposal or a committee paper.
Industry partners
The companies your peers work with that you do not.
Your verified company partners by joint works, sector and home country, and how long each partnership has lasted. Company white space lists verified groups with three or more joint works at two or more of your peers and none with you, with the peers best placed to introduce you. Funded partnerships set UK and EU funded projects against co-publication, so you can see which company ties are also funded and which are not yet.
Awards
The grants your peers have won, and who they win with.
Your EU funding against your peers year by year from CORDIS, as coordinator and as partner; the programmes that fund your peers most and those where you hold no project; a projects explorer by programme, subject, sector, year and role; and the universities, companies and organisations your peers win EU projects with. NIH awards, Canadian and Australian national research council grants and UK industry projects sit beside them where they apply, each in its own currency and window and never added together.
Live calls
Open calls, matched to your strengths.
Open and upcoming calls from live funder listings, matched to your strongest subjects and sectors, with deadlines checked and any call without a confirmed deadline never shown as open. For each call, Should we apply? sets out your fit, your and your peers' past wins in the same programme, who won most and suggested bid partners. Save a call to share it with your team.
Executive brief
A board-ready brief from your record, in one click.
A dated A4 brief for the committee you name: your standing in both indices, the peers you lead and trail, your strongest and weakest subjects and sectors, the universities and companies to approach next with their evidence, your funding record, three questions for the executive, the coverage notes and the independence statement. Print it, save it as PDF or copy the board summary into a paper.
Saved
A shortlist your team can act on together.
Save calls, universities, companies and projects with notes and a status, from considering to submitted. Keep an item private or share it with your workspace, and see at a glance which saved calls close soonest.
Downloads
Take the data with you, with its source attached.
Download the data behind every chart and table as CSV or Excel, a chart as an image, or every panel on a page in one workbook. Each Excel download carries an About sheet with the edition, your peer set, the filters used, the source line and the independence statement, so the figures in your paper match the published ones.
