Privacy Policy

Effective 14 June 2026 · Global Research Partnerships Ltd (Company No. 15971529), 3rd Floor, 86-90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE.

This policy explains how Global Research Partnerships Ltd ("GRP", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal data when you use our website and services. We are the data controller for the purposes of UK data protection law, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Our only loyalty is to the researcher: we do not sell your personal data.

The data we collect

  • Account data you give us, such as your name, email address and institution.
  • Activity data, such as the grants and searches you save, alerts you set, and research you submit.
  • Communications you send us, including enquiries and form submissions.
  • Technical data, such as device and usage information collected to operate and secure the service.

The funding opportunities we display are drawn from public funder sources, not from you.

Why we use it, and our lawful bases

  • To provide your account and the features you request (lawful basis: performance of a contract).
  • To send deadline alerts, digests and service messages you have asked for (consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
  • To secure, maintain and improve the service, and to understand how it is used (legitimate interests, balanced against your rights).
  • To meet legal and regulatory obligations (legal obligation).

We do not use your saved drafts or submissions to train AI models.

Sharing and processors

We share data only with service providers who process it on our behalf under written agreements, for hosting, email delivery, analytics and payments. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never receive or store your full card details. We may disclose data where required by law. We do not sell your data or share it for third-party advertising.

International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement.

Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law. You can ask us to delete your account at any time, after which we remove or anonymise your personal data unless we must retain some of it for legal reasons.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, contact us via the contact page. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Cookies and security

We use cookies as described in our Cookie Policy, and we apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission is completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

Children

The service is intended for researchers and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy and will revise the effective date above. For any privacy question or request, please use our contact page.
