Stockholm University stands at #7 of 1,195 universities worldwide on the Physics & Astronomy collaboration index, the strongest of its 26 subject standings in the 2026 Research Collaboration Index, published today.

The standing rests on the open scholarly record: 2,671 co-authored works in the field over 2021 to 2025, built with 690 collaborating institutions across 63 countries, with a field-weighted citation impact of 5.32.

Stockholm University holds Platinum standing overall, at #90 in the world.
