Yunnan University's research now spans 71 countries

Research at Yunnan University is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 957 institutions in 71 countries, and international collaborators appear on 25% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in China, at 1,629 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 27,608 co-authored works.

Connectivity of this kind is increasingly the currency of modern science, and it is measurable: the open scholarly record makes every one of these relationships public and checkable.
