Yamagata University's research now spans 63 countries

Research at Yamagata University is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 641 institutions in 63 countries, and international collaborators appear on 22% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with Tohoku University in Japan, at 476 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 4,935 co-authored works.
