Xiamen University's research now spans 75 countries

Research at Xiamen University is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 1,077 institutions in 75 countries, and international collaborators appear on 26% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with Peking University in China, at 1,483 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 51,119 co-authored works.

Connectivity of this kind is increasingly the currency of modern science, and it is measurable: the open scholarly record makes every one of these relationships public and checkable.
