Research at University of Zurich is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 1,124 institutions in 81 countries, and international collaborators appear on 59% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with ETH Zurich in Switzerland, at 6,183 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 60,528 co-authored works.

Connectivity of this kind is increasingly the currency of modern science, and it is measurable: the open scholarly record makes every one of these relationships public and checkable.
