University of Wales's research now spans 61 countries

Research at University of Wales is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 548 institutions in 61 countries, and international collaborators appear on 46% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with Cardiff University in United Kingdom, at 668 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 1,287 co-authored works.

Connectivity of this kind is increasingly the currency of modern science, and it is measurable: the open scholarly record makes every one of these relationships public and checkable.
