University of Vienna stands at #11 of 1,195 universities worldwide on the Arts & Humanities collaboration index, the strongest of its 26 subject standings in the 2026 Research Collaboration Index, published today.

The standing rests on the open scholarly record: 1,772 co-authored works in the field over 2021 to 2025, built with 310 collaborating institutions across 49 countries, with a field-weighted citation impact of 5.65.

University of Vienna holds Gold standing overall, at #129 in the world.
