University of Ulster's research now spans 75 countries

Research at University of Ulster is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 986 institutions in 75 countries, and international collaborators appear on 43% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with Queen's University Belfast in United Kingdom, at 1,236 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 12,235 co-authored works.

Connectivity of this kind is increasingly the currency of modern science, and it is measurable: the open scholarly record makes every one of these relationships public and checkable.
