Research at University of Ulsan is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 845 institutions in 68 countries, and international collaborators appear on 20% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with Ulsan College in South Korea, at 12,429 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 19,964 co-authored works.
