University of Tehran's research now spans 78 countries

Research at University of Tehran is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 1,081 institutions in 78 countries, and international collaborators appear on 28% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with Islamic Azad University, Tehran in Iran, at 4,017 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 41,150 co-authored works.

Connectivity of this kind is increasingly the currency of modern science, and it is measurable: the open scholarly record makes every one of these relationships public and checkable.
