University of Technology Sydney stands at #15 of 1,195 universities worldwide on the Energy collaboration index, the strongest of its 26 subject standings in the 2026 Research Collaboration Index, published today.

The standing rests on the open scholarly record: 588 co-authored works in the field over 2021 to 2025, built with 283 collaborating institutions across 42 countries, with a field-weighted citation impact of 2.29.

University of Technology Sydney holds Platinum standing overall, at #80 in the world.
