Research at University of Science and Technology Beijing is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 867 institutions in 70 countries, and international collaborators appear on 18% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with Tsinghua University in China, at 1,722 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 41,498 co-authored works.
