Research at University of Reading is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 1,030 institutions in 79 countries, and international collaborators appear on 47% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with University of Oxford in United Kingdom, at 764 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 19,428 co-authored works.
