University of Potsdam's research now spans 77 countries

Research at University of Potsdam is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 1,016 institutions in 77 countries, and international collaborators appear on 48% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with Freie Universität Berlin in Germany, at 1,327 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 23,054 co-authored works.

Connectivity of this kind is increasingly the currency of modern science, and it is measurable: the open scholarly record makes every one of these relationships public and checkable.
