University of Manchester's research now spans 80 countries

Research at University of Manchester is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 1,178 institutions in 80 countries, and international collaborators appear on 49% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with University College London in United Kingdom, at 3,272 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 76,255 co-authored works.
