University of Macau's research now spans 74 countries

Research at University of Macau is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 967 institutions in 74 countries, and international collaborators appear on 73% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with Sun Yat-sen University in China, at 832 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 23,480 co-authored works.

Connectivity of this kind is increasingly the currency of modern science, and it is measurable: the open scholarly record makes every one of these relationships public and checkable.
