Research at University of Kassel is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 799 institutions in 72 countries, and international collaborators appear on 29% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with University of Göttingen in Germany, at 266 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 9,357 co-authored works.
