Research at University of Graz is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 915 institutions in 74 countries, and international collaborators appear on 50% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with Medical University of Graz in Austria, at 735 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 24,192 co-authored works.
