University of Ghana's research now spans 79 countries

Research at University of Ghana is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 955 institutions in 79 countries, and international collaborators appear on 47% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana, at 1,297 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 18,376 co-authored works.

Connectivity of this kind is increasingly the currency of modern science, and it is measurable: the open scholarly record makes every one of these relationships public and checkable.
