Research at University of Geneva is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 1,083 institutions in 78 countries, and international collaborators appear on 59% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with University of Lausanne in Switzerland, at 2,219 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 35,909 co-authored works.
