The standing rests on the open scholarly record: 4,225 co-authored works in the field over 2021 to 2025, built with 852 collaborating institutions across 74 countries, with a field-weighted citation impact of 4.39.

University of Exeter holds Platinum standing overall, at #45 in the world.
