University of Duisburg-Essen's research now spans 80 countries

Research at University of Duisburg-Essen is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 1,059 institutions in 80 countries, and international collaborators appear on 37% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with Ruhr University Bochum in Germany, at 1,057 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 25,187 co-authored works.
