Research at University of Cyprus is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 929 institutions in 79 countries, and international collaborators appear on 57% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in Greece, at 558 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 10,824 co-authored works.
