The standing rests on the open scholarly record: 8,440 co-authored works in the field over 2021 to 2025, built with 866 collaborating institutions across 68 countries, with a field-weighted citation impact of 3.27.

University of California, Berkeley holds Platinum standing overall, at #35 in the world.
