Research at University of Alicante is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 893 institutions in 75 countries, and international collaborators appear on 26% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with Universitat de València in Spain, at 504 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 15,497 co-authored works.
