Université Libre de Bruxelles's research now spans 80 countries

Research at Université Libre de Bruxelles is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 1,085 institutions in 80 countries, and international collaborators appear on 55% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with University of Mons in Belgium, at 2,263 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 27,703 co-authored works.

Connectivity of this kind is increasingly the currency of modern science, and it is measurable: the open scholarly record makes every one of these relationships public and checkable.
