Universitas Syiah Kuala's research now spans 65 countries

Research at Universitas Syiah Kuala is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 421 institutions in 65 countries, and international collaborators appear on 8% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with Universitas Sumatera Utara in Indonesia, at 314 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 16,073 co-authored works.

Connectivity of this kind is increasingly the currency of modern science, and it is measurable: the open scholarly record makes every one of these relationships public and checkable.
