Universidad de Buenos Aires's research now spans 80 countries

Research at Universidad de Buenos Aires is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 1,013 institutions in 80 countries, and international collaborators appear on 30% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with Universidad Nacional de La Plata in Argentina, at 1,494 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 34,257 co-authored works.

Connectivity of this kind is increasingly the currency of modern science, and it is measurable: the open scholarly record makes every one of these relationships public and checkable.
