Trinity College Dublin's research now spans 80 countries

Research at Trinity College Dublin is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 1,121 institutions in 80 countries, and international collaborators appear on 54% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with University College Dublin in Ireland, at 1,692 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 28,763 co-authored works.

Connectivity of this kind is increasingly the currency of modern science, and it is measurable: the open scholarly record makes every one of these relationships public and checkable.
