Tongji University stands at #52 of 1,195 universities worldwide on the Engineering collaboration index, the strongest of its 26 subject standings in the 2026 Research Collaboration Index, published today.

The standing rests on the open scholarly record: 25,541 co-authored works in the field over 2021 to 2025, built with 821 collaborating institutions across 65 countries, with a field-weighted citation impact of 2.58.

Tongji University holds Gold standing overall, at #242 in the world.
