Research at Tokyo University of Science is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 872 institutions in 71 countries, and international collaborators appear on 20% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with The University of Tokyo in Japan, at 1,989 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 12,393 co-authored works.
