The University of Queensland's research now spans 81 countries

Research at The University of Queensland is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 1,188 institutions in 81 countries, and international collaborators appear on 49% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with Queensland University of Technology in Australia, at 6,791 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 79,145 co-authored works.

Connectivity of this kind is increasingly the currency of modern science, and it is measurable: the open scholarly record makes every one of these relationships public and checkable.
