Research at Syracuse University is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 916 institutions in 72 countries, and international collaborators appear on 27% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with University of Michigan in United States, at 289 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 12,343 co-authored works.
