Sun Yat-sen University's research now spans 80 countries

Research at Sun Yat-sen University is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 1,149 institutions in 80 countries, and international collaborators appear on 25% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with Fudan University in China, at 9,141 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 143,562 co-authored works.

Connectivity of this kind is increasingly the currency of modern science, and it is measurable: the open scholarly record makes every one of these relationships public and checkable.
