Stony Brook University's research now spans 80 countries

Research at Stony Brook University is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 1,092 institutions in 80 countries, and international collaborators appear on 34% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with Purdue University West Lafayette in United States, at 963 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 28,719 co-authored works.
