Southern Medical University's research now spans 67 countries

Research at Southern Medical University is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 877 institutions in 67 countries, and international collaborators appear on 20% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with Sun Yat-sen University in China, at 5,488 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 45,641 co-authored works.
