Shizuoka University's research now spans 57 countries

Research at Shizuoka University is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 540 institutions in 57 countries, and international collaborators appear on 20% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with The University of Tokyo in Japan, at 280 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 5,512 co-authored works.

Connectivity of this kind is increasingly the currency of modern science, and it is measurable: the open scholarly record makes every one of these relationships public and checkable.
