Shinshu University stands at #200 of 1,195 universities worldwide on the Energy collaboration index, the strongest of its 26 subject standings in the 2026 Research Collaboration Index, published today.

The standing rests on the open scholarly record: 248 co-authored works in the field over 2021 to 2025, built with 127 collaborating institutions across 28 countries, with a field-weighted citation impact of 2.08.
