Shanghai University stands at #90 of 1,195 universities worldwide on the Energy collaboration index, the strongest of its 26 subject standings in the 2026 Research Collaboration Index, published today.

The standing rests on the open scholarly record: 883 co-authored works in the field over 2021 to 2025, built with 244 collaborating institutions across 33 countries, with a field-weighted citation impact of 2.13.

Shanghai University holds Silver standing overall, at #522 in the world.
