Research at Roma Tre University is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 848 institutions in 73 countries, and international collaborators appear on 38% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with Sapienza University of Rome in Italy, at 1,527 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 13,243 co-authored works.
