RMIT University stands at #5 of 1,195 universities worldwide on the Business, Management & Accounting collaboration index, the strongest of its 26 subject standings in the 2026 Research Collaboration Index, published today.

The standing rests on the open scholarly record: 1,237 co-authored works in the field over 2021 to 2025, built with 364 collaborating institutions across 55 countries, with a field-weighted citation impact of 5.68.

RMIT University holds Gold standing overall, at #209 in the world.
