RMIT University's research now spans 76 countries

Research at RMIT University is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 1,099 institutions in 76 countries, and international collaborators appear on 59% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with MIT University in MK, at 5,114 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 34,439 co-authored works.

Connectivity of this kind is increasingly the currency of modern science, and it is measurable: the open scholarly record makes every one of these relationships public and checkable.
