Qingdao University stands at #154 of 1,195 universities worldwide on the Energy collaboration index, the strongest of its 26 subject standings in the 2026 Research Collaboration Index, published today.

The standing rests on the open scholarly record: 1,004 co-authored works in the field over 2021 to 2025, built with 207 collaborating institutions across 30 countries, with a field-weighted citation impact of 2.11.

Qingdao University holds Silver standing overall, at #580 in the world.
