Qingdao University's research now spans 62 countries

Research at Qingdao University is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 921 institutions in 62 countries, and international collaborators appear on 15% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with Shandong University in China, at 2,018 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 44,009 co-authored works.

Connectivity of this kind is increasingly the currency of modern science, and it is measurable: the open scholarly record makes every one of these relationships public and checkable.
