The standing rests on the open scholarly record: 7,760 co-authored works in the field over 2021 to 2025, built with 817 collaborating institutions across 69 countries, with a field-weighted citation impact of 2.58.

Norwegian University of Science and Technology holds Gold standing overall, at #126 in the world.
