Northwest University's research now spans 66 countries

Research at Northwest University is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 864 institutions in 66 countries, and international collaborators appear on 19% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with Xi'an Jiaotong University in China, at 790 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 17,832 co-authored works.

Connectivity of this kind is increasingly the currency of modern science, and it is measurable: the open scholarly record makes every one of these relationships public and checkable.
