Northeastern University's research now spans 64 countries

Research at Northeastern University is a global undertaking: the university co-authors with 800 institutions in 64 countries, and international collaborators appear on 16% of its output.

Its largest single research relationship is with China Medical University in China, at 732 joint works. Across the network, five-year output reaches 39,063 co-authored works.

Connectivity of this kind is increasingly the currency of modern science, and it is measurable: the open scholarly record makes every one of these relationships public and checkable.
