Nagoya University stands at #109 of 1,195 universities worldwide on the Materials Science collaboration index, the strongest of its 26 subject standings in the 2026 Research Collaboration Index, published today.

The standing rests on the open scholarly record: 1,809 co-authored works in the field over 2021 to 2025, built with 388 collaborating institutions across 50 countries, with a field-weighted citation impact of 14.27.

Nagoya University holds Silver standing overall, at #350 in the world.
